Yes it is, however I bought it off a guy in Syd, I picked it up off evilbay for $4650, sold off a lot of the parts and engine, it now owes me the princely sum of approx $2k as a roller. another $20-25k should get it to the track!
Would like to know who built this originally?? I have spoken to one guy who owned it in Vic but he had no idea who built it, it has been through at least three owners..
i'm very good friends with pete (the builder) grew up with him, i'm not 100% sure but as far as i know denis (denno's cranes) still has it, i really don't think it's in molong cause i know a few people there that are car people and they've never said anything about it being there, it could be but
in my opinion the ute got wrecked once it got sign written and fitted with a chev and auto, peter still has the holden motor and manual gearbox (the one seen on the engine stand) all the footage prior to where you see the engine on the engine stand the motor in the car is a standard stroke 308 it's only bored
sometimes yor just better off shitting in yor hands and clapping
I have an FB race car in the build, picked up some fiberglass gaurds off Bill in Melb last Fri , thanks Bill(actually he was fishing in NT so got them off his partner),

The vents are Wolsely (pommy) first time I ever saw a set of these was in Darryl Withers purple lace painted EK sedan that was doing the car show scene back in the early 70's, geez it was a cool car that one
Last I heard Darryl was into Chevs and rumoured to have the EK tucked away, I think the car went under the show name of Gladiator I know I've got some pics "somewhere" and it was featured in Eddie Fords Custom Rodder magazine.
