Would you mind asking them if they would sell the van?

I'm yet to hear from the owners and i was just wondering if you've had a chance to pass my details on?
Re: I wonder where these have all ended up???
hey sorry mate - I never received a message from you with your details???
happy to forward on if you try again
And I'll also ask if they would sell it but I don't like your luck, they seemed pretty keen on restoring it back to original Police condition, but you never know

well we finally have a response and update on the p-van and no doubt Viper will be investigating background into if he can find out if it actually is an ex-cop van or not. Although some promising signs exist with old holes in the roof etc and an old cb radio which hopefully is the original police radio - who knows. Either way it's still interesting I'm hoping you'll agree....

The ID plate featuring "S12" states some custom ordered features from factory.
If the colour was a fleet colour, we could pinpoint the customer. Sure looks like an ex police van.
Grecian White (as we know) is found almost entirely on FB's.
The other thing that is un certain with the colour. I thought Vic Police Vans were blue?
Could be a correctional van?

Could be this .....
Re: I wonder where these have all ended up???
I have finally received the e-mail and have forwarded them. Unfortunately it might be up to myself and one other to go through a dishevelled mess of a container to work it out. Hopefully it won’t take to long, but I’ll let you know.

Unfortunately Bad News Guys and that is that the details don't match any of the records kept at Victoira Police. They come close, but no joy . After e-mailing my friend at the Victoria Police Historic Society he actually spent all day searching for me. The poor bugger is quite upset, probably just as upset as the owners as he'd loved to have found an ex police car too.
Sorry i couldn't bring good news Stu.

Viper, it sounds like you didn't read my post from yesterday. I confirmed it wasn't a police vehicle.Viper wrote:Unfortunately Bad News Guys and that is that the details don't match any of the records kept at Victoira Police. They come close, but no joy .
