Has anyone got a picture of the side of the manual box where the linkages go?
I think I have a weird one

Thanks mate, mine look the same but one has a bloody large hole compared to the other. I doubt it would of worn that much, but anything is possible I suppose

they have a rubber gromet in the larger hole with a small centre hole
