Fuel Tanks

Post by Fud »

Hi my name is frazer and i am doing up a 62 ek ute.

i need a petrol tank because the panel beater pulled it out and saw a little bit of surface rust and decided that it was no good
so he chucked it out, now i am on a mission to find a petrol tank and i was wondering a couple of things:

1 Is the sedan or stationwagon fuel tank the same as the ute?
and
2 Does anyone have the petrol tank that would fit that, that they would like to sell?

Any info would be muchly apreciated.

Cheers, Fud

Fud , the wagon tanks are the same as ute/van tanks , they are getting a bit hard to find these days. I know of agood one for sale here in Perth but freight would be expensive.

Theres a bloke in Qld , Marty Dean , who makes stainless ones - have a look here - http://www.fbekholden.com/forum/viewtop ... ty#p128541
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Have you got his details or should people contact you first?

I could add it to the suppliers section.

Back to Fud's question, is the sedan tank the same tank as the one in the ute? It would appear that it is, just rotated 90 degrees.
