Hi Steve,
You may already have these numbers as I bought the car from another member (UTEK).
Its a real shame about the paint, in nitro but all thats original is the insert and the roof
I say its a real shame because a long time ago its had a 'quick fix' spray job, I'm guessing for a sale. I got it home, give it a cut and polish and it came up a million bucks! Pity they didn't keep using nitro cause it sure stands the test of time.
Anyway here are my numbers, will try to post a pic of plate tonight. If i can get a good shot of before and after of the roof, as i've only done half of it, I will.
Body FB/225-5380M (not sure what the backslash is??)
Trim 340-886
Paint 256-9702
Insert 256-9640
Top 256-9702
Subframe FB12626M
Engine L431702 (FC?)
Cheers Muza

Hi Sam, EK Ute's and Vans were the only choice until the release of the EJ Vans and Ute in Jan 1963.
The above is the latest I have seen.

Took delivery of my EK wagon yesterday. Heres my ID plate after about half an hour of soaking in acetone and scrubbing with a toothbrush. Had a few coats of different colours and that colour fleck chook sh.. that was popular back in the 80s
