Mr Mephious,
It was your car at liverpool exhaust that I saw that day,I remember the engine plate!
Its the same old story with these damn engineers one says yes the other says no
The guy Im using used to have an article in street machine a couple of years back and he's been very helpfull but insists that 327 is all I can go.
I have seen a NSW registered 350 ek although, so it makes you wonder who is interpreting the rules correctly and who is prepared to push the boundaries.
Have a look at Malcom's and Sammy's brake set up in my ek on this forum might solve your problems.
Regards Greg

Greg That was no dout my EK you are refering to.
And as you know I pushed the boundries pretty hard. The way you interpret the rules is another story.
My opinion is!, if Rod Hadfield can leagally road register a Spitfire powered 55 Chev, then I rest My case, Push those useless RTA rules to the limit.
I did and suceeded.

John, when I saw Hadfields 55 it only had SR (street rod) rego, which is like club rego for modified cars, I also have SR rego, don't want to say too much but the bloke that looked at it didn't even drive it round the block to see if the breaks worked  , no engineers report or anything,

mephious, dual circut master cylinder from say HQ/torana bolted straight to the firewall pretty easy to do then a remote booster like a vh40, i've had remote boosters up under the front guard or even in the boot, having the blower you may want 2 boosters and a vacum tank
ek283 maybe the EK with the 350 was regoed before they brought in the power to weight rule back in the good ol' days when it was pretty much a free for all :D
all the engineers i've used always wanted dual circut brakes for anything 202 and up but i know a guy that has a legal 308 HR ute with single circut that was done after the new rules i'de rather dual circut for peice of mind anyway

Just thought I would mention that we got a 427 Big Block legally registered in an EH sedan with an engineers report. But the RTA being what it is changes the rules all the time so things may well be different today. (Same goes for things forced inducted like Turbos and Superchargers)

Using the right engineer with an impeccable background and track record helps no end.

Whoever the master is with Paintshop could you please work your magic on the side shot of my car ? I think Oldnek is the wizard but not 100% sure.

Would like to see what the following wheels would look like on the sedan lowered.

Shit Oldnek that looks sweet, love your work !!!

Had the image in my head but to see it mocked up like that is unreal. Thankyou kindly , greatly appreciated mate !!! :D

I know it hard to gauge rim size with the photos etc extremely happy with the look. Again thanks mate !!

Anyone have shots of an FB/EK sporting 17inch rims so I can gauge the portioning vs body ? I like the way fitz's FC sits and i think they maybe 16s? Nothing worse then rims too big for a car throws it all out.
