Post by oldtinhunter »

hi all i have just finished modifying our ek wagon purchased it 8 years ago for $700.00 had been garaged for 15 years with factory side and rear venetion and spatts. had a roof rack before i picked it up, we had to unload 30 odd 3x2 lengths of timber off the roof rack and wash off about 5mm of dust.we took it home we replaced a few lines bled the brakes and clutch and were driving it around the previous owner dudley hutton used it for a work truck first for his electrical business then for running around repairing oil heaters around glen innes he told me last week that he purchased it off a guy who had bought it new and set up for his electrical business and worked it this way until he purchased a new hd holden for his work vehicle he later told dudley that he shouldnt have sold the ek as it was the better vehicle of the 2. we fitted disc brake hr front end dropped stubs lh torana discs and calipers and hr diff 3.5 gears 14 inch ht steel wheels 202 blue and powerglide hr powerglide column and chassis kit we drove it this way until christmas 2010 when we fitted a mild 307 chev turbo 350 2800 convertor and 9 inch diff with 3.5 gears shortened torana rack colapsible column withauto cable shifted we made the extractors and a single 2 1/4system cleaned her up and fitted a new rubber kit and rubber flooring .greg buffed the roof and compounded the rest of the original paint painyed the 15 inch wheels and added flattening base to the cameo paint and resprayed the venetions i have had somelouvers bent up and am repairing the rear venetion here are some pics john[img]

Nice one OTH.

From the look of the pics you may have been the bloke that helped out a few FB/EK owners in Glen Innes about 3 years ago with the rewiring of a generator. If so thanks :D .
