I think we're up to 25 badges so far.

We are in the final stages of getting these made but it looks like Rare Spares wants us to buy about 180 of these which means we need to get more numbers.

I know I said they might cost about $80 each but talk from the meeting says it could be more like $100, which means an outlay of $18000 from the Vic club, this is not chicken feed so we need to garantee as many sales as possible, so maybe the NSW and Qeensland clubs can try to get as many people to support us as they can, even if it means getting a deposit off the members.
We really want to get the badges made so lets get some more numbers,

Not a bad idea Retro as a pair of second hand number plate lenses sold on Evilbay recently for $76.

I'm sure they could be made for cheaper than that.

bonnet badges

Post by reidy »

Regarding your comments about getting them done cheaper and better than Rares Smooth, if you have seen the quality of the bonnet badges the FE/FC club had done by Rares i'm sure you would be very impressed. Have you done any good in trying to source any from your contacts?

Also about the number plate lenses Retro, these are being looked into as well but i would like to concentrate on getting the Bonnet badges done first to get some credability with Rares. We really need to get some firm commitments from people otherwise these badges definately won't go ahead and as Trev stated this will mean a considerable outlay from the Victorian club, so come on guys.

Trev,

I know this suggestion isn't actually getting you the firm numbers you need and the money up front but I'm sure if you throw some out on Evilbay as burley you will get some of the Evilbay fish to bite and deplete the numbers in stock.

Just a suggestion to try.

Terry.
