I had an XB sedan in the same colour.

Used to refer to the colour as "baby shit brown"

My first car was a Telstar Ghia. I wanted a VK Commodore.
Dad talked me into the Telstar. "I don't know why you want a VK. I've heard the motor is a lemon"
I learned to drive for 3 months in that car, then sold it and bought a VL Calais.
I have had all Holdens since. 8)
My 6yr old daughter said
"Dad your car's looking great! Which end is the front?"

Owned this Fairmont Ghia when I lived in Broome many years ago, took us all over the Kimberly and never missed a beat. Spent a lot of time driving up and down cable beach, used to freak all the 4wd owners out seeing us tear up and down the beach in the old tank. (sometimes towing a maniac on a body board behind us :D )

i had a full tilt 75 ZG fairlane i bought while my 61 sedan was getting built , it had the gold & white vinyl top, full width tail lights, black dash/white interior , electric everything, worked 351 clevo, C4 , 4wheel discs , L.S.D. 9". It went really hard.
I moved south for work and my brother agreed to store them there for me, so he did a quick sale of $450 for the &*#@ and split north with my money but what sucks ass the most is he also sold my HD X2 with 40 000 original miles, early race harness's and every option for $250 just to get em out of his yard in 99.

I'm collecting parts to put together a cheap 40's style banger powered Model A Roadster. Late 20s -> late 40s Fords are cool as hell.

I wonder how many good old FB & EKS went down that smash up Derby path? 100's I'd say! I remember in the late 80's seeing 2 tank fairlanes in one!

Cheers

Good investments there, I'll bet you got to have all that "FUN" then Sims gave you $50.00 for the wrecks
Happy to be living past my "Use by Date" as in august 2007 they gave me 6-12 months to live
