Two tone FB Ute?
Just wondering if anyone knew of the existence of many FB's fitted with two tone paint and 'special' chrome,
We are beginning a rebuild on our Pink and Grey FB ute, It doesn't have 'special' badging but does have two tone paint and Chrome?
Would it have been a dealer option, or was it a factory option?
scotty

Welcome SS, here is the content of an earlier post on the forum. Kits were dealer fitted of flash manufacture fitted. I am not aware of any special flash utes and vans that left the Holden factories.

Noticed that the "Modern Special" FB Wagon (in colour below) is the same car on the C.I. brochure. Pics was taken at Enmore Park Marrickville, just around the corner from Canopy Industries
I will take a scan later, this is just a couple of quick pics.

Re: Two tone FB Ute?
Thanks Steve,
It looks a lot like the ute we have has been fitted with an after market Flash kit, It must have also been fitted with extra chrome headlight, taillight surrounds, and Dash. Am going to grab a photo of the tags. It also has a Bonnet emblem that I haven't seen much on the forum photos, It is a twin mount arrangement with a piece in the middle.

yeah I just had a look at the FC pages, though I am next to certain it's not, only I am away from the vehicle at the moment. It seems logical that a dealer has painted the roof the tailgate and above the chrome strip, and fitted up an old FC bonnet bird,

Your welcome SS, a tag or a pic of the ute, will reveal all.
