Hi
This is my first post cause Trev said i had too. This is some shots of my FB/FC sedan that i have owned since 1994. It is a Fc Sedan in FB colors Corona Grey and Artic White it has FB trim and 1960 Chev headlining. For those older forum members the car will familiar too the newer ones it has not been out for a few years.
I also have a EH sedan and a 1957 Phoenix caravan
I need to get some more up to the minute shots of the FC and some interior shots. But that will be later as it under a little spruce up at the moment.
Thanks
Brett
I too have flushed out as along time lurker and zero poster. Nice cars and van that you have, although I particularly like the FC. The colours suit the car very well. I would live to see some photos of the interior if you get the time
Hi
The car is a factory original sporting the FB livery since new. The firewall plate has SPEC on it on trim and paint to inform that it is a special factory run. I am the 2nd owner and it was bought new from Rhodes motors in October 1959. The car has done 103000 miles and all interior and headlining is original. The car has had a coat of paint but to original Corona grey and the Artic white. The car is one of 2 known to the FE FC Car club. Though mine is the only one known to still exist.
Thaniks for the comments
Brett
Here is a photo of the interior of Brett's car. Seats are in the FB style and material although in an FB the top would have been white I guess.
The door trims are also FB material with FB chrome stripes. The seat surrounds are FC style in plastic from memory. The body tag reads
FC-225-14833A
trim 332-SPEC
253-2327
256-9640
253-2327
Brett mentioned the other car which was seen at the FEFC nats in Wagga in 1989 - It is Biscay Green and Belmont Green - unfortunately no photo, but interior was the same as Brett's except green
FC-225-14832A
trim 329-SPEC
256-9690
253-7446
256-9690
The chassis numbers on these two vehicles are 7 cars apart so even though the body numbers are sequential they got a little separated on the production line.
