Here is the Car - it's the same age as me!!! No body rust, no panel repairs, pre-acrilic paint and a very clean interior. The tiny ding in the rear door convinced the 80 y.o owner to give up driving in 1996. Since then it was shedded on club plates and travelled less that 2000 miles over that time . Seat belts are about to be fitted and some fun will be had!!

Cheers to all

Hi Blacky

I'll get some more pics.

Hi Newman. I know the history because it has been in the family since 96 and the original owner was from Leeton. (I had to extract a lot of her brother's rice grower mail from the boot.) My intention is not to do too much to the car except for getting & keeping it mechanically perfect and the seat belts. The change to radials may warrant a slightly taller diff ratio at some point but that's not urgent. The body is as good as it is because it has been kept away from any form of moisture for a long, long time and I'll try and keep it that way (save for the occasional wash).

It's not going to be a daily car but will be used every week or so for something plus the occasional trip.

cheers Paul

Wow! Corana Grey and Arctic Beige .... what a ripper!

Go for original period seatbelts if you must ;)

More pics please.

I wouldn't mess with that car at all, looks soooooo original ...
