I have come to the conclusion that since I never received one reponse from my post chasing some Athens Grey 225 vinyl, that there is none available, which I pretty well knew anyway. So in light of this I'm now looking at a custom interior but trying to keep that EK Style. My original interior is 1051 Mosaic Turquoise & Athens Grey 225, keeping this in mind I thought maybe a green leather with snake skin leather (similiar to Mez's inserts) inserts in a black/silver colour? Any opinions, good or bad would be appreciated, as would any photos of cool interiors. Thanks
cheers

Re: EK Interior Restoration
I really wasnt sure of the snakeskin, but after seeing photos of Pauls purple EK with snakskin inserts, I really like it.

I'd rather drive something made of metal, not plastic!
Re: EK Interior Restoration
A bit if trivia - Generally the "Snakeskin" is just normal leather that has been treated, most upholstery leather is "grain-corrected" anyway to have an overall consistent appearance.
IMHO, if you must use the snakeskin, keep it to a minimum, unlike this guy
(BTW, that's actually vinyl in the photo)

Re: EK Interior Restoration
Well if I change my career to PIMP I might go the same way as this guy:) yeah I was thinking the imitation leather snakeskin. Have a look at Mez's EK coupe, mmmmmm. I'd prefer original but zi don't think that's gonna happen. I'm just not sure about my colour combo in the leather & snakeskin????
