Thanks for the pics guys. There certainly is some talented people on this forum. Their cars are testamony to that.

Here's an EK Auto I had in the early 1990's. I took it to the first nationals
The car had very low miles - approx 12,000 when I sold it. It was dark grey with a white roof. It had the red & silver interior and was still very bright and new, like the sales brochure. It was like a new car. smooth with no rattles on noises. i sold it to a millionaire who came down from QLD. He was collecting low mile old model holdens for his own collection.

This car was bought from Graeme Blanchard Motors in Springvale Melbourne. Kept in the same family but went of reg in the 60's and re-registered.
The family sold it back to the same dealer in '89. The car was so good, they had a competition to win it - instead of selling it. Whoever hung on to the car the longest won it! A young bloke won it. Not because he was an old holden fan, but because he wanted it as a car for his wedding. I bought it off him for a good price because no-one wanted to pay what he was asking and it sat for ages unsold.
I put my usual touches to it - Spats, Venetian, white walls - what I do with almost every EK I get!

it was too good for me with 2 little baby kids. I was always stressing over it on runs. Wonder where it is now?

Mez, are you aware there's a tiny little vandal on your bonnet?
