Karens new ek

Post by minifb »

Hi all, heres are a few pictures of our new ek we picked up from ebay  .we brought the car from Blackheath nsw. My 20yo nephew drove it home(about 400 k's and it didnt miss a beat).while i towed the spares car.he has never driver an old holden before so it was an experience for him.. he liked the fact that everyone looked when you went through towns(so there might be hope for him yet). The sedan has got a 173 init and a trimatic also a hr disc front end.karen wants to sell her vt and keep this as a everyday driver.. this sedan needs a GOOD tidy up...and to be lowered to get rid of the 4x4 look...This picture was taken on the way home in front of red rooster at bathurst.

hi weve pulled the front and rear screens out and found a bit of rust.So we repaired the rust and we painted the wheels red and if we decide we like them red we will be getting a set sandblasted and powder coated red with some flappers or white walls..We got some 2inch blocks of ebay today so its off to the shed to lower the back and do the front tomorrow..

Its amazing how a little bit of paint can realy tidy up a car .
Cant wait to see it progress and I bet Karen loves cruising with a red motor :)
