Another vote for the stickers,Youll also need the period overalls/mobil attire.

Wow !!!
How good is that old girl - I'm for keeping it as is for now, it's a TIME MACHINE. Try a good rub of T cut all over and whatever you do the stickers must stay on the doors. What is the stencil on the bonnet? How is the floor mat?
The old EH pic is great too - any chance of a link so it can be used as a screen saver (gotta laugh at the attendant and his cap!). I always enjoy opening up the computer to see my old ute but that is sooooooo 60's - any one remember the Shell cards etc? Now I am showing my age, lol!!!
Great find - wait till Sam sees it, lol :D
Cheers

put me down for leaving that old girl as she is . not many old work horse's with there signs still on .all so i have seen a photo of one of hobarts old servo's back in the late 50's .in the photo theres a bloke in a suit standing next to his fj sedan .and in there uniforms are the servo guys (one under the bonnet one washing the wind screen one putting air in the tyres and one filling the car up .ive been told that this servo was known for doing this and the photo wasn't just staged .hard to beleave there was that kind of service once . and the servo's still working today . not many of the old ones left down here.

Thanks for all the input everyone!

Seerms the stickers are stayin.. 8)

Thanks for the tip on the hood lining stinky, i'll be giving it a go. Is it you that sells the hood linings? I'm currently bidding on one on ebay.. If the original cleans up, i'll sit on it anyway.

Cool pic 'mick jagger', i better get miself a cap. :D

Thanks for posting that pic stygian, that made y mind up for certain to keep the stickers.

VMX MXR, the floor mats are perrrfect... a bit grubby but will clean up no worries.

The sticker on the bonnet says: Danger, no smoking, stop engine while refuelling. Its on the piss and think was slapped on, might leave that one off.

Paul, Just one more, just this one... i mean cmon, we all need a ute - right?

I'm still playing with my Ek sedan, and an Eh panel van, after them and in between i'll be wkn on the ute. I never documented must that i did on the sedan, but i'll be sure to keep ya's updated on the ute!

Stay tuned and stay kool,

Ken
