Nah..I've seen how long things things are!! You'de need two of those front ends to fit it!kiid61 wrote: Merlin v12?
Although 'Bootlegger' (Dave) might have a few spares for it (the marine version).

Hey kiid, as ek283 said why didnt you build a custom tubular front end? You obviously have the skills to do it and the car would've been in a whole new catergory handling wise... Just curious

Not real sure, I like the old rough riders, so ride quality isnt a huge thing.. Plus the front was already set up with an lj rack so figure may as well use what I've got.... Also with the jig made up now we can modify hr fronts for anyone else who wants them..

Nothing wrong with a bit of "experience" Nath
so should we be expecting to see a front end cut and shut this weekend?
cheers

Negative. Waiting on engineer approval before anything gets cut.. If we had a spare front, perhaps. But they are getting hard to come by without paying a small fortune.
Anyone have a bare Hr front for sale?

I have one, perfect for what you are going to do, it's had some dodgy engine mounts removed from it and needs some TLC, Trev
