Good One Tim, I thought as much re: Coffs nearby. I thought i'd mention it if people wanted to stay in Sawtell.
The cabin I booked is a real yuppie special with big plasma, huge bed, entertaining area and shaded parking...
Maybe I should thow a cocktail party.

Thanks for your reply Tim, I ended up getting an unwanted cabin from Strogger (thanks ).
I would also like to thank MRS DAKAM for persisting with the caravan park and just happened to get onto the same cabin that Strogger didn't need!
Tim, I also had a house lined up, plenty of beds and a garage sounded pretty good to me to , just would have had to travel to where all the fun (drinking) is happening , Trev .

Yep. Booked the last ocean villa!!!!! Expensive but looks very nice

we are in a ocean villa too i can feel some good party nights coming on

Wasn't trying to be a winger or give anyone a hard time, I was just disappointed to get told by the park (where others had booked a day before) that they have nothing left, and I only rang 2 days after them (because of my extended nationals trip home), just didn't want to miss out .

Guys, feel free to shoot the messenger but if you go back and read stroggers message I think it's quite clear, just has been blurred since....

Strogger wrote "We (The QLD Nat's committee) made a group booking over all 18 available cabins for 2011 Queens birthday long weekend.
So please ensure you say your with the FB/EK Holden Nationals when booking to make sure you get one of the cabins we booked. they will be turning away non-nats people."

Is there anyone who hasn't been able to find accommodation in Sawtell yet?

I should have perhaps made myself clearer, "group" was in reference to all FB / EK Nats attendees,

sorry for the confusion. I could have cleared this up sooner but mistook minifb's comment as appreciation,

if I was to pull a dirty trick I certainly wouldn't post on a national forum to advertise the fact.
