Hi all , we had the AGM for the FE/FC Car Club of W.A. last night, once again the subject of changing the name of the club to the FE/EK club came up , we decided not to change for the moment as there is only about half a dozen or so FB/EK`s in the club.
This subject led to a discussion on getting some new blood into the club and the realisation that perhaps some potential FB/EK people were being scared away because of the club name.
If there is anyone out there who would be interested in joining a club but dont bother because you figure there isnt one around to accommodate you , the FE/FC Club welcomes anyone with an interest in early Holdens to come along and join in the fun. As stated , there are already a few of us FB/EK owners in the club to show the FE/FC boys (and girls) the benifits of owning a far superior model Holden!!
If anyone is interested or if you know someone who may be - please let me know and I wll get them some info , etc and hopefully see them at a meeting or 20 !

When I first joined the FE-FC Car Club I didn't even have a classic model.
Through the Club I end up buying a FC ute and later through the Club I bought a FB standard sedan all due to the Clubs contacts.
Been a member since the Club was formed and we have a great bunch of guy's and girl's, some have a wealth of knowledge in various area's of automotive related information.
Come on and join the fun.
I'm keen, but really am waiting for my car to be almost on the road, i went down one night, through an invitation by the VP. and is was a good causal night and seemed like a very good bunch.
I'm just one of those people that needs his own to participate or i dont feel right.....but when i'm on the road i'm there!
hey there blacky yeah im interested to be honest i didnt think that id be able to join as i thought it was fe/fc only i started outkast rod and custom about 4 years ago we have only 9 members and about 18 cars between us but sadly only 6 are on the road youve seen my chopped ute is it too heavelly modified to fit in with that club

G`day Pondarossi, welcome to the forum, I am an itinerant worker as well, am always out of town which makes it hard to get to meetings, etc

I am interested in joining the club but like some others i thought it was only for fe/fc owners. By the sounds of things my stock ek sedan would be right at home there. How about sending me some info and an application form. Look forward to hearing from you soon.
