Looking good! bet you can't wait to get her rolling eh? Are you gonna go for the original look?
I can't wait to get cracking on mine, too much other stuff to do at the moment unfortunately.

yeah, such a shame there's not a tv show filming in our shed, they always seem to rebuild a car in 2 days! really looking forward to getting it done properly. it should be on the road by christmas, we'll be taking it to the port fairy rod run in january for my birthday :P

i want it to look fairly original so it'll be a pastel colour and white, thin white walls and we've got HR hubcaps (freebies! plus FB ones are too hard to get in good nick) but it'll be lowered with a few bits and pieces added. when i'm off my P's we'll be putting the VT V6 engine in and what not with a new exhaust etc.

hopefully it all goes to plan!

almost as cool as me, but not quite cos shes painting it a nice colour, not a loud obnoxious ugly colour, like my lime green one haha

Make sure when you lower it you get it sitting on bumpstops.

did a bit more work this weekend, good thing about public holidays!

Image
stripped all underneath ready for rust-proofing

Image
used POR 15 underneath. did 2 coats with a brush and it came up great, and it's self-leveling so it's come up really smooth and shiny. still have to do the inside floor once we get another tin.

Image
the body filling is getting there too, just a bit more work on the guard lip and that side should be done.

Image
sills are pretty much done aswell.

dad cleaned up the diff and back springs and primed them ready for paint and plans for tomorrow are to keep paint stripping and repairing the doors and more body work :)

i'll keep you updated!
