You have chosen well mate a great starting package that can you can always upgrade later once your off ya P's or leave and cruize along. It also looks like your got the tools to do it right as well pig spit etc to help get into those hard to get areas ya lucky bugger I had to do mine all on the ground and up on chocks etc. But hey enjoy the project and enjoy the happiness these little babies give us style, class and overall solid metal not this plastic crap these days...

don't feel bad about having to run a grey because your on P's
My 1st , 2nd and 3rd cars were all hot greys ( and we didn't have restrictions way back then )
then i skipped reds and went straight to small blocks
and then went back to reds later
and now after all these years going back again (Not the grey bit)
Keep up the good work it will be worth it

Nice work on the ute Colzy
Slightly off topic, I'm not that old but when I got my licence I didn't even have to go on P's, just straight to full licence at 17
Don't shun me but my first car was a 13B bridgeport RX3 coupe that absolutely flew, no restrictions then, one of my mates had a crazy pepsi RGV that zinged along too
I survived (not sure how) but I think the restrictions are a good idea
And keep up the good work on the ute Col

i think we are bringin up the girls too (mum and sis) .
we got a new exhaust on the ek yesterday (Y) makes it sound alot better. not much louder . because its still just a standard engine with twin carbs and extractors.
