SODA BLASTER

Post by vmx-mxr »

Can someone in Sydney recommend a GOOD soda blaster / operator please.

While I reckon I am great (lol) at vapour blasting, and my cabinets can accommodate most things, car panels and other similar sized/long parts just won't fit in, lol!!!

With the guards and a lot of other stuff now off the ute I want to get some momentum happening with treating under-guard and fiddly areas before we manually strip and prep for primer (I mean Seagull Grey, lol)

All leads appreciated............

Thanks

I get all my blasting done by Neil Freeman in Moss Vale. He doesn't use soda but I have never had any panel warping at all, as he is very sympathetic to old cars (always uses the right blasting media and pressures). Neil's currently doing my spats, stonetray and venetians. It's a bit of drive from the Hills district but worth it.
He can also spray 2k etch on body panels immediately after blasting. I got him to do this on my project and over 7 years later it's still good.
