even with the pic i'm not sure what yor talking about if it's the filler neck then somebody has cut it off cause they don't just come off, if this is what yor talking about yor gunna have to cut yors off and put it on the other DON'T CUT WITH AN ANGLE GRINDER OR ANYTHING THAT WILL CAUSE A SPARK OR FLAME    hacksaw should be OK then you'll need some fuel hose that size and to screwy clamps, make sure you do yor cuts and joins where it's accessable down towards the tank where it's in the boot area

Just shove a big cork in it, or a rag, with a note saying "I only have third party insurance, please do not ignite rag"

J, use the hose as previously suggested. i have a custom tank and reused the filler neck top with hose as the joiner. i'll email u a pic if you like.

you can remove that part as i think they are only soldered on, a replacement tank i got for my FC was missing that part too and the filler neck was a little too long for the car so i trimmed it back and refitted the cap holder thingy bit.
