For a second there I thought he was going to re-use the old fibre cam timing gear............................... nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
.
then a bit further along he fitted an aluminium one............. fewwww.....that was close!!
the video was a bit artsy fartsy and a bit quick to see some detail but he seems to have done alright with procuring whatever parts he could in Thailand to rebuild the engine.
Notice the airconditioner compressor and the fluid engine fan.

Yep,fxfjholden.com wrote:The guy that owns that car is from Japan and the car frequents a lot on oldholden.com
I remember him now on old holden," koutaru" or something like that I think his name was??. "Streetneat" ( Andrew ) visited him over in Nipponville one time I think??
His broken English or "Ingrish" translation on old holden was funny to read at times
Seemed like a nice bloke.

looks like it had a helluva lot of stuff in the engine bay...just looked cluttered. i've seen that car on the interhighway too, funny seeing people in other countries who have them
'The best engine in the world is a vagina. It can be started with only one finger. It is self-lubricating. It takes any size piston. And it changes it's own oil every four weeks. It is a pity that the management system is so f*$king temperamental.'
Japan not Thailand.
Guys this bloke is from and lives in Japan a town called Mito.
On one of my many visits to Japan I met this guy and a few others from his gang at an American car show in Ibaraki.
He is a complete dick head.
He bought the car in Indonesia in 2003 from a guy I get my parts from.
