Geez Scott, great solution. Working s/steel can be hard work in my experience, but doesn’t seem to faze you.

Thanks all. Would like to say the idea came from creativity but the reality is it was pure desperation to make the bullet lights fit. The stainless is only 0.5mm so it actually forms okay, is rigid and has minimum flex. It did take a lot of time to sand the shape of the inner ring, but that was a good thing as I didn't take any big bites out when profiling the final shape.
