EK Timing Gear / Single Cam Gear

Hi All,

We took the old girl for a family day out on the weekend and you guessed it, we broke down. As we are complete mechanical novices and rely on mechanics I thought we would pick your brains for some advice.

We have been told that the single cam gear has disintergrated and that it will be ...

Re: Indicator is lazy?

Ok, When its working, everything is perfect. then when the left hand side goes (sometimes halfway through using it) every thing goes. By that I mean there is no click, no interior light flashing, and no indicator lights at all. Its almost as if the stalk is not sending the message at all. wiggling ...

Indicator is lazy?

Re: New EK Wagon Additional Info

Also, I need to try and fix this indicator that stops working all of the time. Someone mentioned a dirty earth, without pulling the car apart, can someone tell me where to find the earth? will it be behind the dash or the indicator lens?

Cheers

Re: New EK Wagon Additional Info

Re: New EK Wagon Owners

Hi Guys,

Here is the ID Tag and the numbers on the frame. Does this shed any light on the car? Is Steve Jackson the man to speak to?

Also, does anybody know who are good mechanics and body guys in Central Victoria?
