We just bought it 4 weeks ago , currently a mid blue and have just got it running and on teh road. Still trying to work out photobucket to load a photo.

We have been reading the forum for a few months now, and have to say the info has been invaluable. We have been looking for a while and finally picked up our 1960 fb special yesterday, she had been sitting in a garage for 4 years and was still licensed, original except for the paint.

thanks for the advice, I contacted Dan, he was a great help. I decided not to get this one as there were a couple of complications,still on the lookout for an FB or EK, and now know what i am in for!

I am south of river and no it was not licensed with the red before, its been out of action for quite a while.
i am wondering if the engineer says its OK and then when I put the modification application in, it gets knocked back or i have to add collapsable steering and dual brake system ...

I have just joined the forum as I have my eye on an unregistered EK. After searching lots of threads ( awesome info and great pics) and the WA Licensing dept guidelines, I'm still not sure about whether the standard conversion to a red 202 and a Hr front end and disc brakes can now be approved ...
