Re: My EK Ute
Great story deecee. Welcome to the forum. Ute looks gorgeous. We love an original and we love a Custom too. I have never seen one like this though. Good first post too. Mate, if you hadn't posted a photo, you would have been hassled, Harangued, abused, derided, bullied, cajoled, lectured, sermonised...

Re: Fb years of manufacture
Thanks sunny tim. Good info and you just reminded me of watching my father and older Brothers look at marking on the glass to tell the true year model, when I was just a littlen'. Without going out to the garage right now, Tell me, is there a dot above a Certain letter which tells you the year model...

Re: Club plate change trial
Guys, welcome to 2015. They supply wifi in the plane. I was talking to my son while at 30,000 feet over Columbo. Wayne my last race is on 11th October so I won't be back until 15th. Never driven this car before and will have a first look at it in 2 days time. It is valued at over 1 million euros. So...

Re: Club plate change trial
Yes the oil use is acceptable to them so they don't have to field Warranty claims from disillusioned customers.
If we were in Vic, I am sure you wouldn't go to a Mechanic and get him to do a yearly safety check on your car.

Re: Club plate change trial
Dr terry. It would be better for you if these uncaring car owners were driving volkswagons. They use up to 500ml of oil per 1000ks. So if they didn't check under the bonnet at least once a month you would get an engine rebuild out of it. It is unbelievable that in 2015, any car manufacturer could ge...

Re: Club plate change trial
It sounds good to me. None of us would drive more than say 5000 km per year, most would be under 1000km per year in our old cars. I travelled around Australia in my old land cruiser and camper for 5 years. I maintained it the same no matter what the state regs were. I had to transfer it to different...

Re: Club plate change trial
Thanks for that info dr terry.
So if I keep hearing so much about this H plate, and remember, I am new to this club membership caper, is the new Rego system only available to H plate cars?

Re: Club plate change trial
Dr terry, I just read your response to my post. At no time did I say the club was too strict and at no time did I mention that my car was not legal, not engineered or that i wanted a club which turned a blind eye. My Ek's and fb's have red motors and they are engineered and registered. They do not q...
