Good to see that old school stuff , I worked for the PMG back in the day and we wiped all the Lead sheathed cable joints , a favourite to use as a wiping pad was felt , usually from an old hat , and from memory the flux was called stearine or whale sperm .

Yea huge car scene over here , there was one Zephyr there but was taking off down the road as I arrived , the big one is coming up soon ,The Beach Hop almost a thousand cars at that one . The black EK like mine is a well enjoyed car ,out and about all the time , sounds good too.

Chopper used stainless rivnuts ,you can choose whatever cap on he screw ,i used a hex arrangement , chopper set the rivnut with some high tech auto gunk .
Even chopper was nervous drilling the holes , so masking tape and a stopper on the drill was called for .good luck Wally
