very nice job re the sun visor - can you put some more pics up for the attachment of the visor - I need to do this myself to a ute and I like the idea or Rivnuts rather than a bolt through so I don't have to muck about with the lining - just put a depth stopper on the drill so I don't punch straight through

Did you use stainless ones?

I used wellnuts on mine Wally , the rubber back on them helps to keep the water out :thumbsup:

hmm very good point Blacky - do you remember what size - M4 x 12.5 near enough - thats an 8mm hole and not too much depth

yeah about that size, I bought Stainless cap head bolts though and used nevr-seez when I put it together, has clocked up 4 trips across the long paddock without blowing off so far, hoping to make it 6 by next June....

Chopper used stainless rivnuts ,you can choose whatever cap on he screw ,i used a hex arrangement , chopper set the rivnut with some high tech auto gunk .
Even chopper was nervous drilling the holes , so masking tape and a stopper on the drill was called for .good luck Wally
