Hi Sam - are you still offering pdfs of the air chief radios? If so, can you send me a copy. Cheers, Wayne

Re: Rebuilding and installing a front quarter window
Thanks Clay.
So you didn't do an adjustment on the corner to make it a little more watertight?
Thanks for the advice on the door belt. I probably followed the rare spares shed talk video too closely and should have made the adjustment to the door belt when I realised what was happening. It seemed ...

Re: Rebuilding and installing a front quarter window
Just for the record, the repaired thread seems to be working so far. I am not sure if I got the vent stop right (and it's too late now) but so far the repaired thread seems to be holding up well but time will tell. Happy with the result. IMG_0162[1].jpg

Re: Rebuilding and installing a front quarter window
Hi Stewart.
This would have been a great post for me to read before I started the quarter vent windows.
Spindle 1jpg.jpg
Alas, I didn't think to look and hence the reason why I broke the lower pivot spindle on the second window yesterday. :crying:
So I thought I would share what I did next ...

Seat belt webbing - advice on colour
Advice appreciated.
I have purchased some airplane-style buckles and I am looking to have the webbing done either through Seat Belt solutions (in Perth) or Tysons (Milperra) as listed in the Suppliers and Services post.
I emailed Seat Belt Solutions and they have been very responsive but they have ...

Seat belts - word from the ACT
I actually got a corrected response from ACT roads today to the same question I put to them in December last year. ACT is bringing in new laws from March 2011 (not sure if it is National or not). While seat belt rules do not apply to 'vintage' cars like fb's and ek's that were not manufactured with ...

Thanks all for the comments. I guess what shocked me most was the cost because there is no rust. By the admission of the guy that checked it out she is pretty clean and no body work is required. (I appreciate that there are always hidden extras but I suspect that the cost will not come down if that ...

Holy christmas tree
On the good advice of Craig some moons ago, I started shopping around for some restoration crews that might be interested in helping me out to get the ute body restored. That was a short-lived project. The first shop I went to said $6000 - but it turns out that was the cost just to gut it. Another ...

Tailgate - ek ute
Does anyone have a tailgate they might be interested in parting with? My location is ACT. Will be looking at making the trip to the Wagga (?) swap on the 19th July if that works better for anyone.

EK Holden shop manual
If anyone comes across an EK Holden Shop Manual or knows someone that if happy to sell one, let me know. Happy to pay, including postage to ACT. Tried Bookworks with no luck. I know EBay has one but I have had only misses and no hits on that thing.

Does anyone know of where one might start looking if they wanted the air plane style Trev was talking about?
PS - I also took NoMADs advice and rang STAMPS this arvo. They are currently running on about 4 weeks turnaround time compared to around 12 weeks if anyone is interested in heading their way.
