i went through the same thing with my FC, CRS spindles with VN/P discs and a VH disc rear shortened to HR specs.
my major problem was first with the rear where the standard commodore 15x6 chasers scrubbed the inner rear guards and the front would be only less than 5mm away from the upper ball joint ...

geez thats a big shock matty, cant believe how much they have jumped in a couple of years.

geez that does sound really steep matty, maore than double what i paid for similar FC pieces from the same guys a couple of years ago.

my cast headlight rims were only $60 each taillights $40, bumper bars were $110 per section

depends on what you want to do, if you just want to fit the VK motor and drive, no problems, but you wont be able to reprogram the VK's ecu

smamy's option is another one but you have to be careful that the loom you are getting from the donor vehicle is in good condition otherwise you may just be importing some more troubles. also take into consideration the age of some of these cars now. a 30 year old wire may not be as efficient as new ...

hey ratbox, queanbeyan is actually in NSW, on canberra's outskirts.
im not sure of the process all i know is these guys do trally great work.
usually booked solid in the months leading up to summernats.
and have done chrome work for some top show cars, fitzpatricks FC for one :wink:
