A mate paid around $3000 to get all the chrome redone and stainless polished on his 53 Chev. Seems to be about the going price.

hey matty, only a newbie on this forum but ive been ffloating around the FC site a few years and got a FC sedan still in the final build stage 5 years on and counting.

Now your chrome, try calling elctroplating technologies in queanbeyan n.s.w
i had my shiny stuff inluding the cast items done by them and can highly praise their work. i was charged $100 per bumper section and i think about $60 per headlight rim.
2 bumpers f / r , 4 exterior door handles, 2 headlight rims, 2 tail light surrounds, number plate surround and a whole heap of bolts total $1300

hope this helps

don't know if it's still the same but i seem to remember some process in the chrome plating that is more to do with quality that they outlawed in NSW (f#%king greenies) but were still allowed to do in canberra (as usual  )
