Mine is absolutely rooted.
I think I need an electronic blue motor distributor which apparently is a hell of a lot better than the basic red motor ones.

Leigh and Brodie tuned up the EK on Monday night and got it running perfectly, unfortunately that only lasted a day and the new points they put in are already starting to burn, now its missing beats at low revs.

So, I have been told dont drive it because if it konks out it could be for good. And cos I drive pretty far to work everyday its not a very good idea.

You may as well try fitting a new condenser which should go along way to stopping the points burning out. They cost bugger all and are easy to get.

..also check you have your Ballast Resistor wire connected too J...without it you'll fry points and coils too!!

Had a new condenser put on not too long ago, but in general there is too much play in the dizzy and the base plate is bad too.
