Hey, did anyone see the sill moulds that were recently advertised on EBAY.
Can anyone tell me are they a genuine thing or not. They look pretty trick.
If anyone knows where I can get a pair let me know.
Cheers

yes, i also saw the final price
they are infact a genuine piece, and are very very hard to find. I do believe that there was somebody remaking them at some stage. Maybe somebody else has something to add....

Yes, they are genuine. I have a pair on my Station Sedan. How the hell did I miss that auction? $750.00pr = Fair price (If a VDO NASCO Clock is pulling $800 to $1000 and is not as rare). Extremely rare to find these days for a genuine NASCO item.

G`day Smooth , a clock sold at auction at the nationals in working condition - for $470 .
I have seen them listed for stupid prices on epay , but how many of them actually sell and how many are the sellers mates jacking up the prices ?

Typically, goods don't achieve there full price at the Nationals. A fair price for a working clock is $400.00 up to $1000.00 in box NOS.
If mates jack the price up so be it. The final sale price is the market price if somebody else is willing to pay it.
I sold one of my clocks at the Nationals in 1999 for $500.00 I wish I still had it now I would get much more for it. No Problems.
The Sill Moulds were a fair price in my eyes and had I seen them I would have pushed the price even higher - so good luck to those who got them. (But of course I would have liked them for as little as possible too!)
Like everything - "Something is worth whatever a person is willing to pay on the day" comes down to how bad they want it.

Not that I have ever spotted.
Spectrum does EJ-EH but not any others.
If someone does I would be interested in a pair.

Yeah it's Sam from Vic, but I don't think he ever did sill moulds (could be wrong though!)
