Fb or EK sedan

Post by pauly »

G'day all,

Finally I am in the market to buy an ek or fb sedan.

My budget is not that high but I am looking for something for about 5 grand.

What I want is something that I can do some work on but doesn't have a whole heap of rust.

Cheers
Paul

Hi Pauly,
I might have something that interests you and am close by in Bathurst.
I have an FB (disassembled) and most of the rust work has been done. I've got all the metal to finish it. I think the floor pans and one headlight shroud are the only major items outstanding and I have the "new" parts to weld in.

I had grand ambitions for the old girl, but the advent of a new house, one child, moving house, part time study and another baby mean this is never going to happen in a sensible time frame.

I had performance plans for the car, so the old grey motor, gearbox and diff are gone. I do have an RB30T motor and 4 spd auto from a VL turbo Commodore as well as the appropriate disc brake diff from the VL.

There is way more than this, so if you want to PM me we can talk. I'm probably looking at a little bit over your 5K mark, but let's talk.
