I suggest we all meet before-hand and cruise in there together because we need to find a good spot reasonably early in the day. I will be able to bring a big gazebo and a barbeque, bring ur own meat, drinks, seats etc.

I guess we can all line up and have our own little ek (maybe fbs too) section. When other fbs/eks drive in we could invite them over to come chill or whatever....

My advice is to Pre-Enter the event, please let me know if you are definitely coming because I dont want to drag all my stuff down there for no reason.

For those who dont know, Big Al's poker run is one of the biggest hot rod/custom/classic car events in Perth. There are well over 700 cars every year. If u miss it then u may as well not drive an old car (which is why our friend (Aust)Mod must take the day off from other commitments and come to this event)

yeah ill be there only missed 3 not to many people can say they were at the first one i remember there being about 14 cars

went to my first about 3 yrs ago with a mate who had a 57' chev, end up down at south freo oval where the run finished up.Had a great day and admired some bloody great cars and the work put into them, hope to have the EK panels and some minor mechanical work completed by then and try n get there. Be looking forward to finally meeting some of you good folk.

I'm wanting to bring both the Cad and the EK this year, see how we go, already got the weekend off, and the weeknights before which normally have cruises and other stuff on for the Summersun Festival (if that's still going, should like at the site before rambling off, it's probably on there!!).
Will be there, don't you worry...........might have our arses organised this year for once.

Wont make it in my car, but we'll take mums 57 out for a cruise

its a shame i will be in Bali that weekend...everything is on while i am out of the state this year.

Are we organising a meet up somewhere before hand as a bit of a group, say 9:30 ish at a nearby location. At least we can set up a spot together then and hang out for the day.

I probably wont make the whole cruise, so I have decided not to enter and waste $50 (crap thats expensive!!!)
