This van joined our line up too
Its another ETSA Van (Electricity Trust of South Australia) from the same fleet as mine was.
My dad also bought one of these form the ETSA auction (he worked there) and was the car I was bought home from the hospital in when I was born.
This one still sports the roof rack for the old wooden ladders and
the power box mounted in the rear to supply 12V for some of the tools they used.

Spotto'd this one parked way out the back.

Bit of a jalopy.. I think the rag top is ala boat bimini & the B pillar fills up with water when it rains. Cool cruiser tho

Good to see three kiddies seats across the back of this one.
Comes standard with 15" taillights

Don't you love it when you borrow your mate who's oversea's car for a cruise and when you're halfway home it puts itself into reverse and refuses to be budged out of it!
It's a 4-speed manual on the floor (behind a 202) and I've been advised it's possibly/hopefully (for me!) a selector issue.
I'll have to get under there and give the selectors a wiggle and a bit of a "love tap" and hope for the best.
Image

Still, even that couldn't spoil an awesome day! 8)

Paro, check the selector bushes as it sounds like a classic example of a bush problem when it fails to change out of a gear.

Sometimes if you really throw the shift quickly it can gain enough momentum to completely change out of the gear and get you out of a drive-home-in-reverse situation until the problem gets fixed       .
