Hi all, tomorrow night (Tuesday 1st), is Lets go cruisin's Xmas Cruise night. Its at the Mornington homemaker centre from 5pm onwards. Its the last one of the year, so if the weather holds out, should get a pretty big turn out.
Dave.

Just got back. Excellent evening.
First time I've been to this one.
If that is what the turnout is like every month, count me in
My two daughters were mesmerised by the young boy on the guitar and vocals and his old man.
Then to top it off Santa turned up, yay

What a turn out. Spoke to the organisers, over 500 cars turned up. Massive crowd, entertainment, excellent night. We joined up to the club, excellent value for $20 per year. I took some photos, but there were so many cars and people, I gave up after a while. One pic will show the turnout they had. The club is having a drive-in night at the Dromana drive in on Sat 27th Feb 2010. Its $30 per car, but you must pre purchase tickets before the event. There are 500 tickets available and are selling fast. We got ours tonight. There will be a 9 piece band playing, trade stands, charity auction, and heaps of COOL cars. If anyone is interseted in going, let us know and we can meet up somewhere before hand .
There is a cruise to the drive-in starting at The Chesea Hights hotel at the start of the Frankston Freeway on Springvale Rd, and there is a cruise for the outer easten suburbs which is on the website. I will post a link to it. It will have TV crews there and a few rod mags as well, so you might even get your car in a mag or on TV. Should be an awesome night and reallly looking forward to it. Dave.
EKSPCL, thats the best turnout I have seen, even the organisers were suprised with the turnout. In the summer months, the turnout is as nearly as good in cars, but there were heaps more people than usual, I suppose because it was a family night.
