Hi Everyone,

Just thought I'd post a couple of pics of my new wagon. Seems a couple of us drove a few hunderd k's on friday the thirteenth to pick up our new babes :D

I drove the wagon 700k's from near Batemans bay back to Melbourne and it ran like a dream all the way. I was surpised how good the economy was 25-26mpg (186 twin carb).

I've always wanted a wagon and this will be my daily driver as soon as I get couple of things to sorted for roadworthy and registered for Vic..

Cheers Wayne...

Somewhere on the way home..

Thanks Guys, I'm very happy with it..

Was comtemplating putting steelies with whitewalls on it, but I don't mind the the 80's rod look so I'll stick with the way it is for now..

My mechanic who is into lowered cars asked if it was 4wd , lol..

Cheers Wayne...

how come the front wheels are on the back, if you want to lower it you may have to go the steelies

They look like 13's up front and 14's on the back, so it would look not rite the other way around, could be the tyre profile that makes them look that way to me???? Trev 8) .

i thought that aswell but the big dish on the front and no oish on the back also looks odd :?

I was only going by the dish, didn't realise rears are bigger.

Trev is right, they are 14's on the back.

I noticed this different dish depth too when I bought it but I did not realise they were front rims... the rear tyres are fairly wide though 225/65's so It looks ok I reckon..... from the side :)

So maybe it'll be steelies afterall ;)

cheers Wayne...
