FB - ute ----- NOT ANY MORE-------

Post by samprinci »

Hi Im after an FB ute, in original condition, with means not much work done by previous owner...

Any condition considered? as long as it doesnt have heaps of rust, & the car is complete (no half started projects with bits missing...

Im going to be doing a ground up resto to original condition, keeping in style with the period... might do a little work to motor.

Any leads much welcome???

Hey Sam

I thought you were on to a winner mate?

How much do you want to spend on the ute? Short of miracles I found you have to spend reasonable money getting a good one that won't slow you or your bank balance down too much with massive rust work.

There are a few on the net including this one that looks very good and the owner seems like a decent seller??? A fair bit of money but little if anything needed to be done.

Hey Dav,
yer so did i???? people have just been wasting my time... $$$$ is not the issue, the issue is... the promise of what the car is & the what the car actually turns out to be... which has been far from what they said. Its also not wanting to do business with people that are dishonest & shifty....

& before you ask, Im not looking for that ultimate find.
just something, straight, minimal rust & fairly original...

????

Any way I always look no the bright side,..... so onwards & upward .

Mine is still available, can't seem to find the motivation to actively try and sell it as I will be sad to see it go.

A forum member from VIC is interested but he can't get up here it seems.

It's on the Northern Beaches if you are interested in a look.

PM me.

Cheers
