Anyone got diff 4 sale?
Hi all,
chasin a coarse spline banjo centre, from the HR era -
prefer sedan.
Havent bought one in about 15 yrs but i assume theyre still available from wreckers?!?
If anyones looking to offload one i be happy to buy it. Doesnt need to be fantastic nic, i have a hr in storage with a blown centre, just wanna get it rollin.
Thanks,
Ken
Yep, it's really only the specialist wreckers nowdays that would have them in stock now.The earliest Holden my local wreckers stock now is WB.
They do turn up at swap meets and on evilbay but transport is a problem as a complete centre weighs 21 KG alone and Australia Post maximum parcel weight is 20 KG, although I do know a few blokes who have managed to convince Australia post to bend their rules and accept for postage .
Forget larger couriers as they don't want to know you ( eg TNT etc ), or will charge riduculous costs for transport.
Just thought I'd mention this as I've missed out on buying a few diff centres and similar size/weight parts from distant sellers due to transport problems.

I can't think what to write here so this will do.
You could try this mob for transport, haven't used them but they seem pretty reasonable with transport costs compare to the greedy large transport companies.

Hope that helps.

Yep, a while back TNT wouldn't pickup a computer of mine to send back for warranty repair because they wouldn't do small "one off" pickup jobs so I went through "pack and send ".
Funny thing was TNT picked up the computer of behalf of "pack and send"
