I saw the above '49 / '50 Chev four door sedan at Moss St, Springwood (Brisbane) today.
Does anyone know who owns it or any other info about it. It was such a cool car. I wish i had one

Oh interesting. I saw it i think at a mechanical joint, although it could of been the place that sells tacky billet wheels and stuff.
If the new owner is putting billets on it, what a damn shame. It looked awesome with the black steelies and whitewalls.
265 Hemi huh.. interesting.

Not the Chevy with the Jag front end, Toyota Crown rear with bags. And 265 and Auto.

He saw that 54 Hudson at the shop that I fitted the 265 into.
You should see the Valiant he took the motor out of? I wish I had of before he delivered it. Would have found him all the bitz elsewhere. Was a shame to part it out.
Was a uper clean VJ sedan. He sold the car less the motor box steering column and pedal cluster for a few hundred dollars! Someone got a great deal.
Glad the Chevy finally got finished, must be at least 5 years since the conversion work was done.
He wanted to two door and chop it, but that never happened.
Would be a great sleeper the way it looked

He says my 52 Pontiac with the hemi is what convinced him, mind you he didn't have the extra 2 foot of engine bay in the Chev that the Ponti had.
He's got a 53-4 hardtop now. Barsteward.

May depend on who he talking to, as to what is what.
Way more room in a Pontiac engine bay.
Those Chevy Hardtops are so nice.
He told me he still has the Valiant Delivery, thats another story.
