Can't wait till I am an old dude holding up traffic in it

...but you already do Tim...just that you're not the old dude yet...
I took delivery of my FB in September '92...pretty close to when you got the EK. I'll have to check the mileage when I got it...I think I've clocked about 138,000.
Do people seem suprised when you tell them you've had the car nearly 20 years...
regards
Stewart

What's amazing about the photo's is the speed you're doing.
70mph

Tim, mine's also a Savell Bros car from what I've been told. There's a little 3 digit number thats been scratched into panel jut above the firewall from factory (152) which I'm led to beleive is the dealer code.
It's also got an old sticker behind the front door from their service department.
Savell became Nyhus Holden sometime in the 70's. I think there's office blocks there now

Just for you, Tim
Hard to take a good picture of it with the sun where it was.

Jezzus, can't beleive yours stil has that under the bonnet
Tim, that panel just above the firewall (painted cameo) ........just below the slats..... on the far right corner (if you're facing the car). That's where mine has the dealer number scratched into the paint.

After seeing those pics, I've got a feeling one of my standards is a Savell bros car also as per underbonnet stencil ??

You might be able to make out the 3 numbers under all that grime

I notice your headlights are on in that photo.
You've got some balls taking a picture of the dash at 70mph in the night in one of these things

Here's one for you Stewart
I don't believe you were stationary Tim...if you were the photo wouldn't have that unfocussed 'shake' from doing 90mph in a stock EK...
