I can see that the FB's have a chrome strip that runs along the top of the tailgate top, just above the glass.
It's level with the roof side chrome strips on the FB wagons.
The FB wagon roof side strips were lower than the EK's.
Did the EK wagon's have a chrome strip that went over the ridge across the rear of the roof ? I thought it did
If not, was the little roof ridge painted roof colour or body colour ?????
Neither of my wagons had one, and I can't seem to make out on any other wagons if they do or not.

I think Tim's referring to your second post.

Guys mine is painted white but I Have put a chrome plastic stick on strip that is self adhesive that I bought back from Indonesia.
The srip is u shaped and fits over the painted metal perfect.
I have also taken the ugly black rubber around the Spats and used the same plastic chrome around the boarder.
At a $1 a meter in Indonesia I think it looks good.
