Not sure what others think. :?
But I like these cars. :D
They provide ideas on what could be.

Not sure what the first one is ?
South Africian Monaro.
The last one is a "Chistine" look alike.
A really good horror movie, for those that haven't seen it before.

This cars design sent GM into a spin when the pre production vehicles were spotted by a GM design employee on his way to work.

The effect was that all of the cars in developement were suspended, and many disguarded. And the influences of this cars stunning lines and lightness of roof and glass area was implomented into the new direction that GM would take to compete against this style of car in the market place

Rob.
Art deco design is stunning.
These guys were not afraid to express themselves in what they built.

Probably is just me then that doesn't like it

It just looks so out there. Big fins, MASSIVE bumpers, and messy ( to me) glass area. It might just be that particular one in the photo that looks a bit odd. I've seen phot'os of 4 door Plymouths and they don't look too bad

Probably was way ahead of it's time back in '57 - 58
