hit it from the other side of the panel with a netball and it should bounce straight back!
i would go with some slow panel beating with the correct tools...and work your way into thje centre, best get yourself a panel beating book or check the net!
Cheers

J provided the paint hasn't cracked try and get hold of the guys who do paint free dent removal. Not sure if you have anyone over there doing it. But here in Melbourne there are a few companies who specialize in paint free repairs. think they use some form of suction.
Otherwise try pushing it back out from inside the gaurd. Don't hit it with anything though as you may make it worse. If in doubt leave it to someone who knows what they are doing.

Go to a panel beater, and get a quote.
Find out the name of the person who did it.
Send them the bill
Or do it yourself.
Old Holdens are tough.
If they dent, they were hit hard.
Hammer, fill ?, sand, prepare, paint. Normal process.

J before you go and destroy your paint, Try a toilet plunger! You know the one you use to unblock the drain. Wet the guard and push the plunger onto where the dent is and pull it out, if you don't get it the first time, keep doing it till your happy with it. If there is a small dent that won;t pull out, give it a gentle tap with a slapper from inside the guard while you have the plunger attached to the outside. Presto! the dent should come out as if nothing happened. cheap and easy with patience!

NNNOOOOO!!!! Follow Theo's advice. Otherwise you'll need to spray the gaurd.
