hi guys and girls,
if when painting i get blooming of the paint from moisture do i have to strip the affected paint right off or just sand to get a biting surface and paint again? probably a stupid question i know.

Sometimes it buffs out. I've painted dark blue cars that bloomed really bad and it all buffed out.

Did it on one of my cars before.

I found you could fix it by light sanding and buffing, but it kept coming back

Ended up going right back and repainting.
Maybe I didn't need to ??? But I did anyhow, and it fixed it :D :D

Sprayed one of my race cars a few years ago, in winter and started to rain. Had to keep going cause had a race meeting on that weekend. Paint bloomed all over the car. Ran a buff over the whole lot, was OK but kept coming back. Only fix is to cut and spray it again. On a warmer and less damp day.
