Are the internals of the diff fitted into EK the same as later model holden i.e. HR - HQ etc
Are the axle spline the same

Yes marty, they are.
Except for the different ratios.
Holdens then changed to a fine spline axle,
which has to be mated to a fine spline diff center.
That started I think at the HX/Z models.
