Need some advice........

Bought a second EK (now have one for my 8 year old, green in colour and this one is for my 4 year old, blue in colour) and have taken it to the mechanic to get a blue slip.

Mechanic said bands not good and will cost about $1200 to fix.

Does this seem reasonable???

I have no idea to be honest about Hydramatic gearboxes. I am not saying that the mechanic is ripping me off but just seems alot.

Or would it be easier and cheaper to find another gearbox.

Thanks

Rodney

EKs for your kids :?: why dont you like them :?:

cant comment on cost as Ive never had it done however
is it just the nomal shift on a hydra as they dont shift like a trimatic or later gearbox if it seems fine try somewhear else for your slip
